On January 12, the NBA announced the midway results of the second round of fan voting for the starters for the February All-Star Game in Utah.

Continuing from the first round, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers (West/Frontcourt) and Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets (East/Frontcourt) received the top votes in their respective conferences.

The East frontcourt is led by Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), who was fourth in the first round, moving past Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers) into third place.

The All-Star Game first-place votes are based on a system in which 50% of the votes are recorded as fan votes and 25% each by all active players and the basketball media.

The top 10 in each category are as follows. Figures in parentheses indicate the change in ranking from the first interim announcement. The third interim announcement will be made on January 19.
