Actor Nicolas Cage has commented on the death of his ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley.
Lisa had the most amazing laugh of anyone I have ever met.
Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the late Elvis Presley, suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California, on the morning of January 12, local time, and was found collapsed by her maid. She was rushed to the hospital. Resuscitation efforts were reportedly made before medical staff arrived at the hospital, and once her pulse was restored, but she was later, unfortunately, confirmed dead.
Cage, who was married to Presley from 2002 to 2004, told the Hollywood Reporter, “Lisa had the most amazing laugh of anyone I ever met,” and “She lit up every room.” She revealed that she was “heartbroken” by the news.

Cage also referred to the singer’s late son, Benjamin Keyo, who died by suicide in July 2020. She concluded her remembrance with the words, “I find some comfort in believing that she has been reunited with her son, Benjamin.”
A representative for Priscilla Presley, her mother and Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, told TMZ, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of Lisa Marie. They are deeply grateful for everyone’s support, love and prayers and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
