Predictions are getting harder and harder to come by this year’s Academy Awards Top 5 sure to be nominated

The year 2023 has already begun half a month ago, and the awards race is in full swing in Hollywood.

This is the first film directed by Todd Field in 16 years since “Little Children” (2007), which was nominated for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay at the Academy Awards, and is also expected to be nominated. Cate Blanchett’s performance as Lydia Tarr, the first woman to be appointed principal conductor of a famous German orchestra, has been highly acclaimed, and she is sure to be a leading contender for Best Actress at the Oscars, following Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award nominations.
