Popular singer Shakira discovered that her longtime boyfriend Gerard Piquet was cheating on her with a jar of jam.

The breakup was allegedly caused by Gerard’s infidelity.

Shakira and Gerard Pique broke up last June after 11 years of dating. In a joint statement, the two said, “We regret the breakup. We ask you to respect our privacy for the happiness of our children, which is our top priority. We ask for your understanding.” The breakup was said to be caused by Gerard’s infidelity.

And according to ShowNews Today, Shakira realized the affair when she returned home from her trip. Gerard and the children were suspicious that Shakira’s jam was missing, as they all disliked jam.

Also earlier this month, PageSix reported that Shakira was “devastated” in 2021 when she realized that Marti (Gerard’s current girlfriend) was behind one of the zooms Gerard made from his home. A source said, “Shakira was devastated to learn that this woman was obviously relaxing in the house where she lived with her children.”
