Pharrell Williams has taken on a new job that has us all looking forward to the future.
Louis Vuitton posted a photo of Pharrell on its official Instagram page.
On Tuesday, February 14, musician Pharrell Williams was announced as the men’s creative director of luxury brand Louis Vuitton, succeeding Virgil Abloh, who died in November 2021.

Louis Vuitton posted a photo of Pharrell on its official Instagram page. In the caption, he wrote: “Louis Vuitton is delighted to welcome Pharrell Williams as our new Men’s Creative Director. His first collection for Louis Vuitton will be unveiled at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris next June,” he announced.
He added, “Pharrell Williams is a man with a clear vision to expand his creative horizons in music, art, and fashion, and has established himself as a cultural global icon over the past two decades. His exploration of different worlds and his breaking of boundaries overlaps with Louis Vuitton’s status as a cultural house and will further enhance the values of innovation, pioneering spirit, and entrepreneurship,” he explained.
Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, welcomed Pharrell as the new Creative Director of Men’s Fashion in a statement accompanying his appointment, saying, “After the collaboration between Pharrell and Louis Vuitton in 2004 and 2008, I am delighted to welcome him as the new Creative Director of Men’s Fashion. His creative vision, which transcends the boundaries of fashion, will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton into new and very exciting developments,” he added.
