Blake Lively had a chance to be a part of “Mean Girls.
Mean Girls,” a movie that was a huge hit when it was released in 2004.
Kadie, a 16-year-old girl who has lived in Africa, enters an American high school and joins a group of three girls at the top of the school caste, but when she falls in love with a boy, she finds herself in a heated battle with the group.
The main character, Kadie, is played by Lindsay Lohan. Rachel McAdams plays Regina George, the leader of the Plastics, and Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert play the other two, Karen and Gretchen.
In fact, a recent interview with Amanda Seyfried revealed that Blake Lively could have been a member of the Plastics.
In this interview with Vanity Fair magazine, Amanda revealed that she had initially auditioned for the role of Regina and that Blake had auditioned for the role of Karen.

Amanda added, “After I went home, the crew said, ‘We think you’d be great as Karen. And I was like, ‘OK, sure, that’s fine,'” she added.
In 2021, Marci Roffe, the casting director of “Mean Girls,” revealed that Blake was a top candidate for the role of Karen.
Marci Rohlf had hoped to cast Blake as Karen, but during the audition process, producer Lorne Michaels recommended Amanda for the role, and the role was eventually cast to her.
