In June last year, Justin Bieber confessed to having Ramsey Hunt syndrome*.

‘As you can see, one of my eyes won’t blink, this one [right side] won’t smile, I can’t move my nose,’ and ‘The condition is pretty serious. I didn’t want this to happen, but my body is clearly telling me to ‘slow down’. I hope you can understand,” he said, revealing that he suffers from facial paralysis.

The virus (varicella-zoster virus) from childhood chickenpox remains in the facial ganglia, and when the immune system is weakened due to poor health, fatigue or stress, this hidden virus reactivates and damages the facial nerve, causing paralysis. The disease is said to occur when the immune system is weakened due to poor health, fatigue or stress.

Since then, Justin has cancelled all remaining dates of his world tour ‘Justice World Tour’ and has been undergoing treatment.

About nine months after announcing his diagnosis, Justin showed his fans on social networking sites that he was recovering.

Justin posted a close-up video of his face on his Instagram story. Justin showed his teeth and laughed, showing fans that he is now in control of his face.
