Noah Schnapp comes out to Millie Bobby Brown
Actor Noah Schnapp, who plays Will in the Netflix drama “Stranger Things,” recalled on TikTok in January 2023, “When I finally told my family and friends that I was gay after 18 years of being terrified in the closet, their response was ‘I knew.’ I came out as gay.
In June, Noah participated in the Pride Parade for the first time since he confessed his homosexuality, wearing a rainbow-colored headband and waving a rainbow flag as he walked through the streets with other participants.
Noah recalled in Variety the time he came out as gay to his “Stranger Things” co-star and best friend, Millie Bobby Brown.
Noah first came out to his family that he was gay, and then he apparently made a list of people he wanted to tell in person. It seems that his best friend Millie was on that list, and Noah called her while he was at Party City, one of the largest party goods stores in the United States.
He said of that moment, “I FaceTimed her in the middle of Party City and said, ‘Millie, I’m gay! ‘ And I said, ‘I’m gay! And she said, ‘Oh! Schnapper! You finally told me,'” he said.
Noah and Millie had declared that they would get married if they were still single when they both turned 40. Because they are best friends who understand everything about each other, Millie was dimly aware that Noah was gay, and she was happy when he reported it to her.
