Zendaya and Tom Holland started dating after working together on the Spider-Man film series (2017, 2019, 2021).

They have been together for a long time, but there is something Zendaya still doesn’t understand about Tom.

On 9 April, Zendaya appeared in an interview with The Sun newspaper in the UK and admitted that even after seven years of friendship with Tom, there are still times when she “doesn’t understand British slang”.

Joking to the newspaper, Zendaya said, “I love the British accent, but I’ll never understand rhyming slang, even though Tom tries to explain it to me as best he can. But what do apples and pears have to do with stairs? It’s cute that he teaches me all these phrases, but I really don’t get it!” He also remarked. She revealed that although they share a common language, she sometimes does not fully understand what Tom says because of their different countries of birth and cultures.

Zendaya and Tom have been spending time together for the past few weeks and have travelled to various countries, including Tom’s hometown of London, UK, and India. In fact, in the middle of last month, they were caught shopping hand in hand at Waitrose supermarket in London and enjoying a walk with Tom’s parents, Nicky and Dominic Holland, and their dog.

Earlier this month, they also visited Henry VIII’s ‘Hampton Court Palace’ in London. On that occasion, a couple shot with shadows was released, which caused a stir among fans.
