Tokyo Comic Convention 2022″ (hereafter “Tokyo Comic Con 2022”) opened at Makuhari Messe.

 

Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, “Tokyo Comic Con” was held for the first real event in three years since 2019. This year’s lineup included Karen Gillan, Ian McDermid, Hayden Christensen, Daniel Logan, Anthony Daniels, Christopher Lloyd, James McAvoy, Andy Serkis, Joseph Quinn, Jamie Campbell Bauer, Michael Pare, and Vernon Wells, and many more.

The Tokyo Comic Convention 2022 opened at Makuhari Messe on November 25.

 

 

The opening ceremony held on November 25th was a rare opportunity to see all of these super-luxurious guests gather together on stage.

 

Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie, and Jamie Campbell Bauer, who plays Vecna, appeared from the Netflix drama “Stranger Things. Joseph Quinn said as soon as he appeared, “Konnichiwa! Thank you for having us. It’s great.” Jamie Campbell Bauer said, “Hello Tokyo! I’m thrilled to be here. Thank you,” and bowed. We are quite happy to see these two shots in Japan.

Also visiting Japan from the “Star Wars” series were Ian McDermid, Hayden Christensen, Daniel Logan, Anthony Daniels, and Andy Serkis. Hayden Christensen, who plays Anakin Skywalker, said, “I am happy to be here in Tokyo again and to see everyone. I’m happy to be here in Tokyo again and to see you all,” he said with a smile and a wave of his hand.

Christopher Lloyd, known for his role as Doc in “Back to the Future,” said, “I am honored to be here.

After everyone had assembled, all the celebrities broke open the sake barrels to wish for the success of this year’s Comic-Con. Tokyo Comic-Con 2022 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba for three days from Friday, November 25 to Sunday, November 27. Photo sessions with celebrities and autograph sessions will be held at the venue.
