It has been officially announced that Prince Harry, the King’s second son who retired from high royalty at the end of March 2020, will attend the coronation of King Charles on 6 May (local time). Prince Harry’s wife, Princess Meghan, and their children will not attend and will remain in the United States.

‘I am pleased to announce that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Ceremony at Westminster Abbey on 6 May. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
Since leaving the royal family, Prince Harry and Princess Meghan have been largely insulated from their families due to their exposure and criticism of the Royal Family’s inner workings through interviews and the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan.
