Businessman and Twitter CEO Elon Musk likes the idea of turning Twitter into a ‘dating app’.
On 10 May, YouTuber Stephen Mark Ryan, who runs the YouTube channel Solving The Money Problem, which posts videos about Elon Musk, asked on Twitter: ‘When will there be a dating app on Twitter? If this happens, it could save the human race from extinction. This is not a joke. It should be very easy to make it happen. Besides… when it comes to apps that make it all happen, Twitter is one of them, isn’t it? PS: I could make a video about how this self-application app (Twitter) works and why it’s 10 times better than traditional dating apps Twinder* would be a huge hit,” he tweeted, suggesting.
*Coined from a cross between Twitter and the popular dating app Tinder.
Elon responded to this tweet. Elon responded to the tweet by saying, “Interesting idea. Perhaps even about jobs” and posted a positive comment.

After taking over as CEO of Twitter, Elon changed the previous rules for certification badges. He changed the badge granting to paid services, and on 20 April he stripped many accounts that had not signed up for paid services of their verification badges.
On 9 May, Twitter also announced that it was working on introducing voice and video calling services.
