Alec Baldwin celebrates the last day of filming for the movie Rust.
He was shown with a shaved beard.
Alec took part in the filming of the western film Rust in October 2021. While practising with a revolver, a single gunshot was fired, wounding director Joel Souza and killing cinematographer Halina Hutchins. The incident led to the filming being cancelled. Alec later vehemently denied pulling the trigger of the gun. Filming of the film was then resumed this year.
On Monday, three weeks after all charges against Alec were dropped in the shooting death of Halina Hutchins, he celebrated the last day of filming Rust. He captioned a selfie of himself in bed: ‘God, it felt good to shave that beard…’ he captioned it.

He also shared a snap with his co-star, 13-year-old actor Patrick Scott McDermott, and wrote: ‘Last day on the set of Rust with this guy’ and ‘A very talented actor and a lovely young man with a bright future ahead of him. Love,” he wrote. Patrick responded by saying, “Alec, I love you.
In Rust, a western set in 1880s Kansas, Alec plays Harland Rust, an aging outlaw who rescues his 13-year-old grandson from the hangman’s noose. The independent film was made on a shoestring budget of $6-7 million and is said to be a ‘passion project’ for Alec.
Director Joel Souza, who was also injured in the accident, is believed to be one of the few original crew members left on the production. And the charges against Hannah Gutierrez Reid, a former arms officer who was also sued by Alec, have not yet been dropped.
