Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are not happy with the Instagram update.
I wish they would go back to what they originally set out to do.
The photo-sharing app Instagram has recently undergone a number of changes, including the addition of more vertical videos (reels) like TikTok, as well as more recommended users who are not followed by the user and appear on their timeline.
In response, reality star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner updated Instagram’s Story feature, calling for a return to the original purpose.
In the story, Kylie responded to a message asking her to “return Instagram to what it was,” saying, “Don’t try to be like TikTok. She also claims that Instagram is forgetting its original purpose of “sharing photos”.

To this text, Kylie added the caption, “Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.” Then, her sister Kim Kardashian responded to Kylie’s post. Sharing Kylie’s post, she added, “Sincerely, please.”
In addition, Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram, Inc. has given his opinion on these criticisms. Adam Mosseri posted one video on his Instagram account.
In it, Mosseri said that he is aware of the criticism that Instagram is shifting toward videos rather than photos, and that “we will continue to support photos,” he said, stressing that “it’s part of our heritage (to be a photo-sharing social network).
He added, “In the future, Instagram will become more and more video-centric,” Mosseri said, “While we will continue to support photos, we must also respond to such a trend,” and asked users to understand this.
