Three-time Grammy Award-winning singer Dua Lipa (27) finally made her red carpet debut with boyfriend Romain Gavras at the Cannes Film Festival on 19 May local time.
Romain Gavras is a French director, now 41. He is best known for directing Kanye West’s music video ‘No Church in the Wild’.
Dua posed for the camera with Romain on this occasion. She wore a chic one-shoulder black floor-length gown with cut-outs and a long slit. Romain, meanwhile, attended the event in a classic black suit with a white shirt and black tie.

The pair attended a screening of Omar La Fraise (The King Of Algiers) and were seen holding hands and laughing together.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Dua Lipa was spotted with Romain at a party in London in February, and dating rumours emerged. The pair were then seen holding hands at Paris Fashion Week that month.
A source told The Sun at the time that ‘Dua and Romain have been quietly getting to know each other for months. ‘They enjoy spending time together, they meet in each other’s close circles around festival time and have a lot in common.’ ‘Dua knows how important it is to find someone who understands her industry. She feels that Romain understands it perfectly, they are both really creative people,” she continued.
Dua was in a relationship with Anwar Hadid, brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, from 2019 to January 2021. Later, rumours of a relationship with stand-up comedian and popular presenter Trevor Noah surfaced. However, at the time, her representative told Page Six that they were just friends.
