Nevertheless, Schindler’s List was a very important film for Spielberg and a great responsibility, and he even felt that the other films were not so important at the time.
In a recent interview on the talk show The Late Show, Spielberg revealed the secret story that it was actually his friend George Lucas who was asked to direct the rest of the sound work as a pinch-hitter, as he was unable to bear the burden of the project.
After successfully completing the film, Jurassic Park was released in June 1993 and Schindler’s List was released in the US in November of the same year.
