The cast of the highly anticipated “Squid Game” Season 2 has been announced and has become a hot topic.
The latest information about “Squid Game” was unveiled at Netflix’s global fan event “TUDUM” held in Brazil on Saturday, June 17.
Squid Game” is a South Korean drama that premiered on Netflix in September 2021. It tells the story of adults with debts who challenge children’s games such as “Daruma-san fell” for a prize money that could turn their lives around. The winner advances to the next game, but the loser loses his or her life. Despite the cruel nature of the story, the tactics used by the characters and the surprising storyline became a worldwide hit, recording 1.65 billion viewer hours in the first 28 days of distribution. It was such a big hit that it became a social phenomenon.
