Mark Zuckerberg seems to be willing to fight Elon Musk for real.

On Tuesday, June 20, Elon Musk, CEO of the U.S. electric car giant Tesla, Inc. said on his Twitter account to Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the U.S. social networking giant Facebook, “I’m ready for a cage match. If he’s up for it.

A cage match is a form of professional wrestling in which fighters fight one-on-one while surrounded by a fence on all sides.

Mark responded to the post, which may or may not have been a joke. The next day, Mark posted a screenshot of Elon’s tweet on his Instagram account story with the message, “Tell me where the match is,” indicating that he was open to a match.

Shortly after, Elon replied on Twitter, “Vegas Octagon. He mentioned the name of the venue, which is said to be a reference to the octagon, the octagonal stadium used for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world’s largest mixed martial arts event.

Regarding the exchange, a spokesperson for Meta, which operates social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram, stated, “There is nothing more to it than that exchange.

Although Mark is eager to take up Elon’s challenge, he is in fact an experienced jiu-jitsu fighter, and in May he showed his talent by winning a medal at the first jiu-jitsu competition in which he participated.

In an Instagram post reporting the results of the competition, Mark posted an image of himself in a pair of shorts given to him by mixed martial arts champion Alexander Volkanovsky.

Elon, on the other hand, said, “I have a special move called ‘The Walrus,'” and he plans to use his physique to his advantage, adding, “I hardly work out at all. I’m just picking up my kids and throwing them around,” he tweeted, making it hard to tell how serious he was.
