Actor Taron Egerton, known for his roles in “Rocket Man” and the ” Kingsman: The Secret Service ” series, has announced that he is distancing himself from social media.
Taron recently posted a lengthy post on Instagram in which he revealed how “addicted” he feels to social media.

He then urged people to put their phones “in another room. He said, “I feel like I spend so much time scrolling that my ability to sit and be present, to read a book, to watch a movie, to seek the company of the people I love, is being compromised as a result. I feel a little detached from myself. I know I could be doing more in terms of my work, but IG (Instagram) has been one of the few obstacles preventing me from doing so,” said Taron, who added, “Thank you guys for all the nice things you say about me. I appreciate it very much, but I’d rather not read what strangers think for a while,” he continued.
He concluded, “I wish you all a Happy New Year. And if you are like me, don’t forget to put your cell phones in the other room. I love you,” he concluded.
Taron recently watched Elton John perform for the last time in England in front of his enthusiastic fans at Glastonbury, and many fans were hoping that Taron would come on stage and duet with Elton, so “Taron Egerton sang Rocket Man with Elton I was hoping to see him sing,” and “It’s a little disappointing that Taron Egerton didn’t appear on stage.
