On June 24 (local time), Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection and was rushed to a hospital in New York City, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit.
Madonna updated her own Instagram on July 18 (local time) and showed her healthy figure after leaving the hospital.
The photo showed Madonna standing outdoors, hugging a huge bouquet of pink roses. Madonna wears her long blonde hair in a braid and a white shirt with pink details in the same color as the roses. She had her eyes closed and a happy smile on her face as she rested her cheek on the bouquet.
The post read, “One rose can be my garden. Just one friend can be my world. Thank you,” she wrote, adding a heart and a red rose emoji.
When Madonna released a recent photo of herself after leaving the hospital, her followers commented in support of her.
She wrote, “Glad to see you’re feeling better. Sending you love.”
