Madonna, a world-famous singer, had been hospitalized due to a bacterial infection. She is now slowly recovering and provided an update to her fans.

Madonna was reportedly found unconscious at home in June and rushed to a New York hospital. She initially had to be treated in the intensive care unit.
Madonna had been rehearsing 12 hours a day in the weeks before she became ill for a tour that had been planned before the pandemic. The tour was scheduled to begin in Vancouver on July 15.
After Madonna’s hospitalization, her manager, Guy Oseary, released a statement. On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection and was admitted to the ICU for several days. Her health is improving but she is still undergoing treatment. A full recovery is expected. At this time, all commitments, including touring, must be suspended”.
And now recovered, Madonna released her first statement since her illness on Instagram. She wrote: “Thank you for all the positive energy, prayers, healing and encouragement. I feel your love,” she thanked her fans and continued, “Our current plan is to reschedule the North American tour and begin the tour in Europe in October.
