Influencer and child star Lil Tay (real name Claire Hope) has died at the young age of 14.
Lil Tay’s family announced her passing via her Instagram on August 9.

Lil Tay became viral and famous at the age of 9 for a video in which she bragged about her money and unleashed her slurs. However, she disappeared from social media amid contract issues and custody disputes.
In 2021, a GoFundMe (crowdfunding) was launched, followed by allegations of abuse against Lil Tay’s father and stepmother. The allegations included photographs, and also stated that “Lil Tay fell into a state of depression” as a result of “physical and emotional abuse” by her parents.
