Taylor Swift’s speech was interrupted by Kanye West.

Taylor Swift’s performance in Mexico City on her latest tour, “The Eras Tour,” held on August 27 (local time), has attracted attention as she may have made fun of Kanye West for interrupting her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (hereafter referred to as “VMAs”). As many of you may know, TAYLOR is a very well-known musician.

As many of you know, Taylor won the award for Best Female Video at the VMAs that year. However, Kanye was not satisfied with the outcome of the award and suddenly took the microphone from Taylor during her speech and said, “Yo, Taylor. I’m so happy you won. I’ll let you speak, but just… Beyonce’s video was one of the greatest videos in history! and there was one incident where she shouted, “I’m so happy for you!

Since that incident, Taylor has had a long-standing feud with Kanye and his subsequent wife, Kim Kardashian, but she has finally found the time to make a joke about the Kanye incident.

Taylor jokes about being “interrupted.

At the Mexico City show, the fans were so loud that Taylor had to pause for a moment during her MC. By the way, this is the best way to be interrupted, just because everyone is chanting your name.

Taylor continued, “By the way, this is the best way to be interrupted because people chant your name. If you’re going to be interrupted, it has to be in this way. I can say that because it’s me.

Taylor recalled the time in her 2020 Netflix documentary “Miss Americana,” saying, “At the time, I didn’t know that other people were booing him. I thought they were booing me. As someone who has built her belief system on people applauding me, it was quite a growth experience for me to be booed by the entire audience,” she said.

Taylor added, “In fact, I said, ‘I have to prove myself. I had to let people know that I deserved to be here.” Rather than being shocked, she said the experience was more inspirational.
