Singer and Academy Award-winning actress Cher, 77, hired four men to kidnap her own son, singer Elijah Blue Allman, 47, from one of his hotel rooms, according to a statement.

On the day of the kidnapping, Elijah was trying to reunite with his wife Marie-Angela King on their wedding anniversary.
