Ariana Grande loves Japanese culture.

Ariana Grande recently purchased an item from Ghibli’s “Spirited Away,” a collaboration with Spanish fashion brand Loewe, and the official Ghibli account reacted to the purchase, which has become a hot topic.

Ariana is known to be a big fan of Chihiro, the main character of “Spirited Away,” and even has a tattoo of Chihiro on her arm. Ariana, who loves Japan so much that she studied Japanese for a time, is also known to have a tattoo of Eevee from the Japanese anime “Pokemon,” as well as a tattoo that reads “Let’s Sing” in hiragana characters.

She also made headlines when she and her boyfriend Dalton Gomez announced their engagement in December 2020, when Dalton wore a T-shirt in support of the jazz cafe “I-Guru” in Yotsuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Ariana revealed a photo of a painting by internationally acclaimed artist Yoshitomo Nara, which reads in Japanese, “It’s a garden of the universe, after all. Ariana tagged Yoshitomo Nara’s account with the words “after all, i’m cosmic dust,” which is the English translation of “Shosen cosmic garden,” and a heart emoji in the comments section.

Ariana seemed to like this piece quite a bit and shared this post of her own on Instagram Stories as well, with three heart emojis.

Yoshitomo Nara then reacted to this post by Ariana. After responding to Ariana’s love call with a cat emoji, Ariana also shared this reaction received from Yoshitomo Nara on Instagram Stories. She added a loving message, “Forever my favorite.”

The love from Ariana did not stop there, as she also sent flowers to Yoshitomo Nara. On April 14 (Japan time), Yoshitomo Nara tweeted, “Flowers just arrived from Ariana and her friends,” reporting that the flowers arrived with a jointly signed message by Ariana and Dalton.
