Debbie Lloyd, who worked as a nurse for Johnny Depp when they were still married, testified in a lawsuit filed by Johnny Depp against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, for defamation of character.

As we have been reporting daily, Johnny filed a lawsuit against Amber for defamation of character alleging that she accused him of domestic violence in a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, in which she did not name him but identified him as Johnny, for $50 million. Amber is seeking $50 million in damages.

Debbie, who was deeply involved in Johnny and Amber’s personal life during the period when their relationship was deteriorating, is one of the people who know the inner workings of the relationship well. Johnny’s drug problem has been at the center of the debate for the past week, and Debbie admits that Johnny was a drug addict, testifying that he “became addicted” when he began taking opioids after undergoing dental work in late 2014. According to Debbie, Johnny was aware that he had to stop using drugs, but he was even more afraid of quitting, and he had doubts and fears that he would never be normal without them.

Debbie also said that she had never seen Johnny get violent with Amber or Amber get violent with Johnny, but she had witnessed the two arguing on many occasions, as testified by Johnny and Amber’s marriage counselor (marriage counselor). He claimed that he had actually seen Amber pick a fight with Johnny. He went on to say that the argument with Amber was a “trigger” for bad feelings for Johnny.

Incidentally, the court also showed private e-mails that Johnny sent to her at the time, in which Johnny chuckled when he saw the “Blue jokes” contained in them. What made Johnny laugh was the e-mail in which he apologized for mistaking Debbie for someone he detested, Steven, and refusing to meet with her, ending with the words, “I am so sorry if I offended you. If you want, I can give you a shot of morphine and see if my tongue will touch your penis,” the joke read.

The trial, which began on April 11 local time, is scheduled to last about a month and a half, and Johnny himself will reportedly take the stand on April 19.
