Justin told the fans in attendance, “As you know, the city is surrounded by tragedy. Tonight I want to pay my respects to those people and offer a moment of silence. It means a lot to me,” he continued, “There are so many divisions in this world. There is a lot of racial injustice. Racism, as you and I know, is evil and heinous. All we can do is be difference makers. We can continue to have conversations with our friends, family, and loved ones and continue to be their allies.

In another video released by Justin on Instagram, he is rubbing shoulders with tour staff and dancers backstage just before the concert, saying, “You guys heard what happened. It’s pretty horrible. But I’m looking forward to tonight. I want to get on stage, do what we do best, have a good time, and bring joy to the city (at a sad time like this),” he was seen saying.
