Actor Johnny Depp won a defamation case against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard. Camille Vasquez, one of Johnny’s lawyers, talks about what exactly his legal team was working on during the trial.

Speaking to People magazine, Camille Vasquez began, “After the trial, we went back to the hotel where we lived, which became our little nest, so to speak, for many months.”

Camille Vasquez described how the legal team worked specifically during the trial

‘We would get dressed, meals would be served, and then there were two battlefields where we would sometimes stay until 5:00AM the next morning. It was very intense,” he said, revealing that he was fighting an overbooked schedule during the trial.

‘We worked with the most amazing group of young lawyers, who were brilliant, strategic, came to the case with different experiences, and really looked critically at this evidence.

Before I cross-examined Amber and before I gave my opening and closing arguments, I went to bed around 1AM or 2AM in the morning.

Then my team would stay up until 5:00AM or 5:30AM and leave what they were working on under my door. When I would wake up, they would be under my door, and they would sleep for an hour to an hour and a half. Then we all went to court together.

I cross-examined them, but I made it very clear that this was not a cross-examination by me. This was our team,” he said, revealing that the victory was largely due to the hard work of the entire team.
