King Charles married Princess Diana in 1981 and had two boys with her, but divorced her in 1996 after having an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. Many people know that he and Camilla Parker Bowles had a pre-marital relationship.

It seems that there was another ‘special woman’ in King Charles’ life.

Known as a popular man since his days as Prince of Wales, he had another woman, Lady Dale Tryon, in addition to former Princess Diana and Queen Camilla.

Prince Charles’ (then) interaction with Dale began in 1973, when Dale married Sir Anthony Tryon (today), a close friend of the Prince of Wales.

According to some reports, Prince Charles once nicknamed Dale, with whom he became close, ‘Kanga’, after her Australian kangaroo roots, and called her ‘the only woman who really understood me’.

The Tryon couple had four children, but divorced in 1997.

Dale’s tumultuous life was documented in the 2008 documentary Prince Charles’ Other Mistress.

In this programme, the affair between Prince Charles and Dale is described in detail, but the Tryon family completely denies the rumours.

Dale suffered from various illnesses throughout his life.

In 1993, when she distanced herself from Prince Charles, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and subsequently began to struggle with alcohol and drug addiction.

She also began taking painkillers to overcome her cancer and became dependent on large quantities of vodka and champagne.

As a result, Dale was admitted to a rehabilitation facility, but fell out of a window while in hospital. He suffered a fractured skull, spinal injuries and was paralysed.

Dale was thus confined to a wheelchair until he passed away from septicaemia in November 1997. This was two months after Princess Diana died in an accident.
