Jamie Campbell Bauer revealed to People what he did when he played the role of Vecna, the real mastermind behind the threat to the town of Hawkins in the popular “Stranger Things.
In the final episode of Season 4 Vol. 1, Jamie’s character Henry Creel is revealed to be Number One (001), the Vecna who threatens the town of Hawkins from the other side of the world. In Vol. 2, the main characters split up into teams to fight a final battle against Vecna to save Hawkins.

In order to play the role of Vecna, the biggest enemy of “Stranger Things,” Jamie seems to have erased the eyes of his victims and pasted them on the wall, saying in an interview, “I take a picture of each victim. I would print out the picture, erase their eyes, and then paste the picture on the wall and stare at it,” he commented.
He added, “For Vecna, resentment is a great motivator. He already has the belief that the world is false and unfair. So I prepared for it (the emotion of resentment) by digging further. I did heavy, dark meditation, listened to low frequency sounds, and said the same things over and over again,” he said, revealing how he prepared for the very dark role.
Finally, “Stranger Things” comes to an end in Season 5. We will keep an eye on the fight against Vecna until the very end.
