Pedro Pascal revealed that he had an eye infection due to excessive interaction with fans.

Pedro became famous for his role as Oberyn Martell in the popular drama Game of Thrones. In the film, Oberyn Martell lost his life in spectacular fashion, being blinded by his opponent in a duel.

During the conversation, Pedro said, “Because of ‘Game of Thrones’ and the way my character died, people [fans] would put their thumbs over my eyes and try to take selfies,” Pedro said, “In the beginning, I was happy that people were asking for selfies and I was serious too, I was serious, so I let them. I was serious, so I let them do that, because it was New York! Then I got an eye infection,” he confessed.

Pedro also mentioned that he has recently been affectionately known as ‘Daddy’ on the internet.

Pedro plays the role of his father in the live-action drama THE LAST OF US, a popular video game. He also plays the main character Din Jarin in the Star Wars spin-off drama Mandalorian, where his relationship with Glogoo, aka Baby Yoda, is said to be exactly like that of a father and son. He has become known as ‘Daddy’ because of the positive reception he has received from viewers.

Pedro said of this phenomenon that he was happy to be in the role, but added: “I’m not a dad and I don’t intend to be a dad!” He assured the audience that he was not and would not become a dad, which drew laughter.

Pedro is known to have had a partner in a relationship 20 years ago. However, his personal life since then has been shrouded in mystery and it is not known whether he has a partner or children at the moment.
