Keanu Reeves, the popular actor known for his roles in “The Matrix” and the “John Wick” series, will host an F1 documentary program on Disney Plus.
I want to tell that horrifying story of the Brawn GP.
According to Variety, the four-part documentary will focus on Ross Brawn, the managing director of Formula One who bought the Honda team in 2009, renamed it Brawn GP, and won two championships.
Keanu Reeves will host the documentary and has reportedly already interviewed former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo and drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
Incidentally, Keanu is such a motorcycle enthusiast that he founded Arch Motorcycles with Gerd Hollinger, who makes his living building custom motorcycles.
Keanu was also seen at the recent British GP held in England. Keanu said, “We want to tell that amazing story of the Brawn GP. We have a lot to tell. We have a lot to talk about,” said Keanu, who used to work in publicity for Brawn GP and is a producer and director. So we thought we would tell that story,” a local journalist reported.
It’s really great to know what was going on in F1 that year. Not only the cars, but the new regulations, FOTA (Formula One Teams Association), the breakaway series… F1 has always been extraordinary, but that year I spent at the Brawn GP, I think something really special happened.
