The second teaser trailer for the highly anticipated drama series “The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power” produced by Amazon Studios has been released.
The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power,” an epic and ambitious depiction of J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendary second phase of Middle-earth, will be available exclusively to Prime members in over 240 countries and territories beginning Friday, September 2, 2022.
The second teaser trailer for “The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power,” the highly anticipated drama series produced by Amazon Studios, has been released.
The new 2:30-minute teaser trailer introduces Tolkien’s legendary characters, the people of the Kingdom of Númenor, for the first time, providing an in-depth look at the series.
The characters include the young Isildur (Maxime Baldry), Captain Elendil (Lloyd Owen), Advisor to the Queen Regent Farazone (Tristen Gravel), and Queen Regent Miriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson). Other Noumenolians include the ambitious young Kemen (Leon Wadham) and the talented young woman Aerien (Emma Horvath).
The teaser trailer also introduces several kingdoms that viewers will see throughout the eight episodes of the series, including the elven kingdoms of Lindon and Eregion, the dwarven kingdom of Khazad-Dhoom, the Southlands, the northernmost wilderness, Thundersea, and the island kingdom of Noomenor.
Of course, the main cast members also make an appearance. Galadriel (Morfydd Clarke), a renowned elf warrior and commander; Elrond (Robert Aramayo), a high-minded young elf dignitary; Gil-Galad (Benjamin Walker), the senior elf king; Marigold Brandyfoot (Sarah Zwangovani), a Halfut; the adventurous Elanor (“Nori”) Brandyfoot (Marcella Cavener), a young Halfat girl with an adventurous spirit.

The first teaser trailer, released in February 2022, received an astounding 257 million views in 24 hours, and with this even more enticing second teaser trailer, viewers will be eagerly awaiting its release on Friday, September 2.
Amazon Prime Video’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power” is the first film adaptation of the legendary Second Age heroes of Middle-earth history, an epic tale set thousands of years far before J. R. R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings.
The creation of great powers, the rise and fall of kingdoms, the trials of heroes, and the most powerful villains created by Tolkien who shroud the entire world in darkness, all invite the viewer into the world of the Second Age. The story begins in a time of peace, as familiar and new characters gradually come together to confront the long-feared return of evil in Middle-earth.
From the darkest recesses of the Misty Mountains, through the majestic forests of the elven capital of Lindon, through the breathtakingly vast island kingdom of Númenor, to the farthest reaches of the earth, the kingdoms and people encountered on this journey will long live on in legend.
The showrunners and executive producers leading this series are J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay. Executive producers also include Lindsay Webber, Callum Green, J.A. Bayona, Belen Atienza, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, Jennifer Hutchison, Bruce Richmond, and Sharon Tal Iguado. Producers are Ron Ames and Christopher Newman. Wayne Choi Yip serves as co-executive producer and will also direct along with J.A. Bayona and Charlotte Brandstrom.
