Someone brought fireworks to the venue at Dua Lipa’s Toronto performance and set them off.

Popular singer Dua Lipa is currently on a tour around Europe and the United States in support of her album “Future Nostalgia.
In her first concert in a long time, she performed not only songs from “Future Nostalgia,” but also “Electricity,” a collaboration with Diplo and Mark Ronson’s unit, Silk City, and “One Kiss,” a collaboration with Calvin Harris The last half of Dua’s Toronto show was a great success.
Toward the end of Dua’s Toronto performance, someone brought fireworks to the venue and set them off. Many fans thought the fireworks, which were set off in the back of the venue, were a finale, but the fireworks flew in all directions, creating a dangerous situation for the packed venue.

Dua had moved to the front of the stage and was unaware of the fireworks. Dua was not harmed, but three people suffered minor injuries from the fireworks, People reported.
Dua apologized to fans.
A spokesperson for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), which operates the venue, said, “Last night at the end of a concert event at the Scotiabank Arena, a member of the audience set off an unauthorized and illegal firework on the arena floor. As a result, three audience members received minor medical attention at the scene and were able to return home without requiring further treatment,” explaining the situation and adding, “Making the Scotiabank Arena, one of the premier venues in North America, a safe and secure venue for all audience members is a top priority for MLSE and we are immediately began working with the Toronto Police Department to investigate this reckless and dangerous act. As always, we are grateful to the Toronto Police Department, our on-site medical team, our employees, and our concert attendees for their quick response to this incident,” he said in a statement.
Dua herself also commented, “Last night, during my show in Toronto, fireworks went off in the audience, even though they were not allowed to be brought in. Creating a safe and inclusive space at my shows has always been my top priority and my team and I are as shocked and confused by this incident as you are. There is an ongoing investigation into this incident and everyone involved is working hard to figure out how this happened. Making this show happen for the fans was such an amazing experience. Our deepest apologies to anyone who was scared, felt unsafe, or whose enjoyment of the show was affected in any way. Love, Dua,” she said in a statement on Instagram.
