The Netflix drama “Stranger Things” Season 4 (2016-) and the Disney Channel TV movie “High School Musical 2” (2007) have unexpectedly collaborated. A video combining scenes from both films has become a hot topic on the Internet.

Will and Mike seem to be singing “Gotta Go My Own Way” in the video.

 

A user uploaded a video on social media showing Troy (played by Zac Efron) and Gabriella (played by Vanessa Hudgens) dueting to “Gotta Go My Own Way” in “High School Musical 2” and Will (played by Noah Schnapp) and Mike (played by Noah Schnapp) in “Stranger Things. Noah Schnapp and Mike (played by Finn Wolfhard) in “Stranger Things” bickering.

Both scenes depict romantic relationships and friendships gone awry, with the actors saying, “What about us?” (Troy), “What about us?” (Troy) and “What are we?” (Will).

 

The video, which seems as if Will and Mike are singing “Gotta Go My Own Way,” has been receiving a lot of positive feedback, and the video posted on Twitter has received nearly 6.4 million views.

In an interview with Variety magazine, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will, said, “Yes, especially since in this season, it is clear that Will has feelings for Mike (played by Finn Wolfhard). He admits that he sees Mike not as a friend but as a romantic interest.
