Ezra Miller Finally Breaks His Silence, Reports Start of Treatment, “I Want to Apologize to Everyone

Ezra Miller has finally broken his silence after a series of troubling events in recent months.

Ezra Miller, known for his roles in the “Fantastic Beasts” films and as The Flash in the DCEU, has seen his problematic behavior increase dramatically in 2022 after he was seen grabbing a woman by the neck and pushing her down in 2020.

In March, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment; in April, he was arrested for assault; and in June, allegations surfaced that he had brainwashed and groomed a 12-year-old girl in the past. Also in early August, he claimed to police visiting to protect the three children of a woman believed to be living on a farm in Ezra that the parents and their children had left two months earlier.

His whereabouts were unknown at the time the allegations of grooming the girl surfaced. This made it impossible for the court to send documents to him, and perhaps recognizing this, Ezra wrote on Instagram, “You can’t touch me. I am in another world,” and “This is a message from another dimension,” among other memes (story images).

But Ezra finally broke his silence and officially released a statement. The statement was provided to the US media outlet Variety by a representative. Below is the full text of Ezra’s statement released by Variety.

“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,”  “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life.”

Ezra apologized to all involved and revealed that he has begun treatment. Since previous cases have involved police and court cases, it is expected that there will be further developments in those cases, but for the time being, he has made the decision to get professional help.

Ezra plays Flash, one of the heroes in the DCEU, which refers to the universe of DC Comics heroes. The DCEU has recently completed filming on “Batgirl,” starring a female hero of color, but the film has been cancelled. On the other hand, “The Flash,” starring Ezra, is still scheduled to be released theatrically.

Although it has been announced that this is a business decision, the fact that the response to films by people of color and white people is very different and that David Zaslav, who took over as CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery this spring and set a new strategy, has appointed so many white men in upper management that there is a sense of discrimination There has been some criticism that this may be in the background.

Nevertheless, there were concerns that “The Flash” might not be released to the public, so THR conducted interviews with those involved and was told that there were “three possibilities. The first proposal was that if Ezra chose to seek professional help, Warner Bros. would arrange a meeting with Ezra, limit his “The Flash”-related media appearances, and release the film in theaters as planned.

Ezra has reported that he has begun treatment, which increases the likelihood that “The Flash” will be released theatrically as scheduled.
