The book was reportedly inspired by Harry, but the author told Vogue magazine, “It wasn’t supposed to be a book about Harry Styles, it was supposed to be a story about a woman approaching 40 years old reclaiming her sexuality and rediscovering herself. It was supposed to be about a woman approaching 40, coming to terms with her sexuality, and rediscovering herself.
According to Deadline, the film “centers on Sophie, a 40-year-old divorced mother. Sophie’s husband Dan fell in love with a young woman and divorced Sophie. Her husband initially planned a trip to the music festival “Coachella” with their 15-year-old daughter, but cancelled it.
When Sophie goes to “Coachella,” she meets 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, the lead singer of the hottest boy band on earth, August Moon, and the story unfolds. This divorced mother, Sophie, will be played by Anne Hathaway.
The film will be directed by Michael Showalter of “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and “The Big Sick” and will be available on Amazon Prime Video. The film will reportedly begin production in October.
