Yusuf Shah, 11, of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, scored an astounding number in an IQ test organized by Mensa, an international intelligence quotient organization.

His IQ score of 162!

162 is the highest score under the age of 18, and even Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking had a score of 160, so “Boy genius, here he comes! The boy prodigy is making a lot of noise.

 

He told local media.

 

My friends at school say I am very smart. So I was wondering if I would make it into the top 2% on the IQ test. Now that I’ve found out and can get a certificate, I feel special.”

 

Mensa is a non-profit organization that admits only those with an IQ in the top 2% of the population, and has about 120,000 members worldwide.

 

Shah said he would like to study mathematics at Cambridge or Oxford University in the future, and when he is not studying, he likes to play Sudoku and Rubik’s Cube.
