Tokyo Comic Con 2022 will be held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City) from November 25 (Friday) to 27 (Sunday), 2022, for the first time in three years.

 

This year’s Tokyo Comic Con will feature Hayden Christensen, known for his roles as James McAvoy in the “X-Men” film series and Anakin Skywalker in the “Star Wars” series, Daniel Logan as Boba Fett, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Joseph Quinn as Eddie from the popular Netflix drama “Stranger Things: The Unknown World,” and Jamie Campbell Bauer as Vecna.

Hayden, who was visiting Japan for the first time in many years, said, “My first visit to Japan was 20 years ago, and I fell in love with the people and the culture of Japan. It quickly became my favorite culture in the world. I’m happy to be back.

Daniel, who is visiting Japan for the first time since Tokyo Comic-Con 2019, said, “I’m like an ambassador for Tokyo Comic-Con, so I come every year. I love Japan and the Japanese people. Thank you for coming again this year! He commented.

This year, Hayden played Anakin for the first time in 17 years in the “Star Wars” spin-off drama “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” which was distributed on Disney Plus. When asked how it felt to reprise the role after all these years, he said, “It was great to be back in ‘Star Wars,’ to work with my friend Ewan McGregor again, and the director Deborah Chow did a great job with the film. It was also great to wear that costume again,” he said, adding that he felt like he had grown up.

A Boba Fett spin-off drama, “The Book of Boba Fett,” was also released this year. As for why Boba Fett is so beloved, Daniel said, “I think a lot of people created Boba Fett’s backstory because he didn’t have much to go on at first. I wouldn’t be on the Jedi’s side if my own father was killed by a Jedi.
