The fate of the battle for Judge has been the focus of much attention.

The Giants’ outfielders include Piderson, Jastremski, Slater, and Gonzalez, and the team has a full complement of outfielders at this point, but the team has identified outfielders as one of its key offseason reinforcements. The U.S. media reported that they needed two outfielders, and they accomplished part of their goal with the acquisition of Haniger, an eight-year veteran who has hit 39 home runs and driven in 100 runs in 21 years.

The team is also working to acquire this season’s MVP Judge, a FA from the Yankees, who is said to have offered a total of $360 million ($49.32 billion). Since the offer exceeds the Yankees’ offer of eight years and $300 million, the battle for Judge has been the focus of much attention.
