Starbucks’ “thank you” given to a customer who was kind to a clerk is, to put it mildly, the best.

Customers who were kind to Starbucks clerks receive a thank-you they never thought they’d get.

The experience of a man named Jontay Black, a TikTok user who visited Starbucks, has gone viral.

According to Jontay, he stopped by a Starbucks at an airport in North Carolina after a long and tiresome day, looking for a tasty drink to cheer him up, only to have “the clerk repeatedly get the drink he ordered wrong. He had the misfortune of having “the clerk repeatedly get the drink he ordered wrong.

Jontay said, “I didn’t order anything unusual. I didn’t order anything unusual, just strawberry lemonade,” he explained. However, the waiter who took care of the situation was obviously new and had not yet figured out how to make the drink, so the coffee with strawberries was brought to him, and the mistake was made not once, but twice.

It was a situation that could have been resented, but Jontay was different. He remained calm throughout, showing respect and empathy for the clerk. I was just being polite,” he said. It’s no big deal. Everybody has a bad day. I had a bad day myself.

His kindness was unexpectedly rewarded. When the drinks finally arrived, a woman claiming to be from Starbucks’ upper management approached him and said, “I watched the whole event from beginning to end. You were so kind to our people that we wanted to do something to thank you,” Jontay said in a video he uploaded to TikTok, brandishing the envelope he received at the time.

‘She gave me a Starbucks gift card for life. I can swipe all I want.”

Incidentally, Jontay, sipping the strawberry lemonade, said, “I had a bad day. I was forced to write a letter of explanation at work. But thanks to this (gift card), I was rewarded. The drink tastes good, too.
