The trailer for the movie “Barbie” starring popular actress Margot Robbie has been released for the first time.

On December 16th (US time), Warner Bros. finally released the trailer for “Barbie,” a movie about Barbie dolls.

The trailer features Margot Robbie in the iconic black and white swimsuit worn by the original Barbie doll. The girls who were taking care of the baby dolls at the beach cannot hide their surprise and confusion at the appearance of Margot’s Barbie, who is many times larger than they are.

When Barbie, played by Margot, winks at the girls, they take extreme action by smashing their baby dolls on the ground and destroying them. The trailer pays homage to the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” and is full of humor.

The teaser also features the first appearance of Ryan Gosling, who plays Barbie’s boyfriend, Ken, as well as brief glimpses of Sim Liu and Issa Rae.

For now, plot details of the film are being kept under wraps. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig, who co-wrote the screenplay with her longtime boyfriend Noah Baumbach.

The much-talked-about “Barbie” is scheduled for release in the U.S. on July 21, 2023.
