RM, the leader of the globally popular seven-member K-pop boy group “BTS,” recently appeared on the Korean news program “KBS News 9. He spoke candidly about his feelings toward the group.

RM talks about his current state of mind as the group is on hiatus.

Speaking of BTS, the debate over their military enlistment has been heated for several years in the country. As a result, measures were taken to stagger the timing of their enlistment, and the oldest member, JIN, has been on military duty since December of this year.

 

RM, who is currently focusing on his solo activities, said of “Indigo,” his first album as a solo artist, “I think I’m relatively relaxed,” adding, “When I sang as BTS, my part was one-seventh, but now that I’m singing alone, I think my part has more depth and density. He also commented on JIN’s decision to enlist in the BTS, “JIN didn’t talk much. I think he was thinking about it a lot.
