In an interview with Esquire, rapper Post Malone, who attracts many fans with his friendly and beloved character despite his impactful looks with tattoos all over his body, revealed that the diamond he spent a lot of money to have implanted in his teeth came off and fell into a drainage ditch. In an interview with Esquire, Post Malone revealed that the diamond he spent a fortune to have implanted in his teeth fell down a drain. The diamond that fell into the drain was worth $600,000 (approximately ¥90 million).
In 2021, Post spent a total of $1,600,000 to have two diamonds totaling 12 carats implanted in her teeth to “upgrade” her smile. The doctor in charge of the procedure said, “They are designed to stay in the mouth, so they will not interfere with the function of the teeth (such as chewing food). Of course, it won’t come off,” he told E! News at the time, but the worst has happened.
According to the Post, one of the diamonds came off while he was eating chicken in Rome, Italy, and although he caught it once, he accidentally dropped it and it fell into a drainage ditch.
I was holding the one on the left in my hand and I just dropped it straight down the sink hole,’ he said. ‘Damn. I had to go back to the sewers of ancient Rome to find it.
Miraculously, he was able to rescue the diamond using a homemade tool made from a plastic piece called a “pizza saver,” which comes with pizza delivery orders, and a pair of pliers. The diamond he picked up was later fixed to his tooth again at a dental clinic in Rome.
