Prince Louis, the second son of Prince William and Princess Catherine of the United Kingdom, joined his brother Prince George and sister Princess Charlotte in the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas procession, or Christmas Walk, held every year on December 25. This is the first time Prince Louis has participated in the Christmas Walk.
Last year, during the “Platinum Jubilee,” a ceremony celebrating the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s reign, he was warned by his sister Princess Charlotte for waving his hands too much during the parade, and he could not stand the noise of an air force plane flying over Buckingham Palace and covered his ears while making a “wow” face. Prince Louis brought smiles to the faces of many royal fans with his free-spirited appearance.
Although he is only four years old and often “stays at home” when attending family events, Prince Louis ended the year 2022 with his debut at the Christmas service and procession.
On the way to St. Mary Magdalene Church, where the service was to be held, Prince Louis pulled on his mother Catherine’s arm and urged her to “hurry up,” as they interacted with the people gathered along the way. She also chased after her father, Prince William, who was walking in front of her, at full speed. Incidentally, when asked by those gathered along the route how Christmas was, Princess Catherine revealed, “I woke up very early this morning,” and “(the children) received many wonderful gifts.
