Quavo pays tribute to his late nephew (hey) Takeoff.

On Wednesday, January 4, he finally released a new song.

 

The rapper Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston, Texas, last November at the young age of 28. Last month, two suspects were arrested and charged with crimes related to Takeoff’s murder.

 

His uncle, rapper Quavo, who worked with Takeoff as a member of the hip-hop group Migos, has been in a state of grief since the incident, but on Wednesday, January 4, he finally released a new song.

 

The new song is titled “Without You. It is directed toward the deceased takeoff.

A music video was also released at the same time as the release. In the video, Quavo sits in a rocking chair, puffing on a cigarette and thinking about taking off.
