On Sunday, January 15, the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings faced off for a spot in the National Football Conference (NFC) Divisional Round.
The Giants won the Super Bowl with a 31-24 upset victory.Divisional Round for the first time since the 2011 season.
Quarterback (QB) Daniel Jones proved his ability to complete the task in his first playoff game.
Jones completed 24 of 35 pass attempts for 201 yards and two touchdowns, plus 78 yards on 17 carries.
Running back (RB) Saquon Barkley also shined in his postseason debut, with 14 touches for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
Never one to shy away from a strong opponent, the Giants head to the home of their foe next week to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are the Giants’ first two losses since December 11.
