Manchester U, who won the derby against Manchester C last week, are currently on a nine-match winning streak, and if they win, they will overtake their arch-rivals and move up to second place in the standings. In the next round, Crystal Palace will play Newcastle at home on January 21, and Manchester U will play Arsenal away from home on January 22.
