Whatever time my daughter wakes up, I wake up too.

Gigi Hadid recently gave an interview to the economic magazine “The Wall Street Journal. In it, Gigi reveals her morning routine, her beauty and exercise regimen, and her goals and scheduling for the new year.

First, on what time she wakes up and eats with her daughter, Gigi said, “Whatever time she gets up, I get up too,” revealing that it is usually between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. Gigi and her former partner, singer Zayn, had their first child, daughter Khai, in September 2020.

She said, “I eat whatever [my daughter] Khai eats. I make her pancakes and sausages every day. For Christmas, she asked me what I wanted to ask Santa for and I told her I wanted a new pancake pan. This frying pan is cool, and each little round pancake is a different animal, so you can make lion pancakes or llama pancakes. It’s really fun,” she said.

As for her beauty routine, she said, “I’m not really good at skin care. I’m afraid of facials. Before the last Met Gala, I went to someone who works on my sister and one of my best friends, and she’s really reliable. I like to keep it simple,” she answered surprisingly.

As for exercising, she added, “Running after my two-year-old. I walk a lot. I also do yoga with her. I pick her up and run around all day, or we go to the park and I exercise,” revealing that she incorporates exercise into her childcare.

When asked about how she stays organized, Gigi said, “I handwrite my schedule. I’m really good at being organized, keeping a schedule, and making time for different projects. It allows me to devote a lot of time to Khai. (My schedule is) very disorganized. It’s like Khai’s construction paper. This month it’s yellow paper, it’s a square calendar, six lines, seven days. I take a picture with my phone, edit that month, and then edit and rewrite everything the next month,” she said, revealing her unique management method.

When asked about her goals for 2023, she replied, “My goal is to take it one day at a time. I will get through the tough days, be thankful for the good days, and be thankful for everything, which will give me a little pride,” she said, leaving a beautiful message.
