Eminem “waits” for popular celebrity housewives.

Gisele Bryan and Robin Dixon, who appear on the Potomac version of the popular reality show series “The Real Housewives,” which follows the personal lives of celebrity housewives from Beverly Hills to New York City and even Dubai, have filed a trademark application for the name of their podcast, ” The rapper Eminem, also known as Slim Shady, has filed an objection to the trademark application for “Reasonably Shady,” the name of the podcast they do together.

Slim Shady is the name of an alternate identity created by Eminem, who has used the terms “Slim Shady” and “Shady” exclusively since approximately 1996. He also owns both “Slim Shady” and “Shady” trademarks for use on merchandise and his records.

On the other hand, Giselle and Robin’s podcast, “Reasonably Shady,” began in 2021, and the two applied to trademark the show’s name about a year ago for the purpose of selling products such as water bottles, lip gloss, sweatshirts, and hats. Note that “Shady” translates to “suspicious” in Japanese, and the name of the podcast, “Reasonably Shady,” means “so-so suspicious.

According to legal documents obtained by People, Eminem believes that if the trademark is granted, his brand will be damaged, claiming that it “could cause confusion” to those who know him by the names “Slim Shady” and “Shady. The Slim Shady and Shady marks are extremely valuable symbols of Mathers (*Eminem’s real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III) and his reputation and credibility,” he claimed in the letter.

Incidentally, Eminem’s daughter Hayley Jade Scott, who is an influencer, has a podcast called “Just a Little Shady,” named after Slim Shady.
